WITH NATURE

Why sustainability matters...

Every detail in a Rad Times Camper is intentional — including the materials we choose. In a world where traditional lumber harvesting contributes to deforestation and indoor air pollution, we’ve made it a priority to build with resources that align with a healthier, more responsible future.

Bamboo and palmwood are not only high-performance building materials — they’re climate-positive choices. Bamboo regenerates in just a few years without replanting, while palmwood is salvaged from coconut palms at the end of their fruit-bearing life. Both offer exceptional durability and a reduced environmental footprint.

We’re also exploring the potential of agave-based materials, inspired by one of nature’s most resilient plants. Agave thrives in arid climates with minimal water requirements, making it a promising renewable resource that aligns with our commitment to innovation, sustainability, and responsible material sourcing.

By designing with these renewable resources, we reduce waste, improve air quality inside the van, and give our clients a deeper connection to nature — without compromising on style or strength.

Sustainable PRACTICE

We intentionally select building materials that emphasize sustainability, durability, and healthy interior environments. Rather than relying on a single “eco” material, we focus on renewable, reclaimed, and regenerative resources that reduce impact while maintaining structural performance.
